Important: PDF Wand provides browser-based editing tools (add text, erase, sign, images) that work locally on your device. However, features such as file conversion and compression require your file to be temporarily transmitted to our secure server for processing. Files sent to our server are processed immediately and automatically deleted — we do not retain, read, or share your file contents.

1. Information We Collect

We collect two categories of information:

Server log data — When you visit PDF Wand, our servers automatically record your IP address, browser type, referring page, date/time of visit, and pages accessed. This data is used solely for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and aggregate analytics. It is not linked to any personally identifiable information.
Uploaded files (conversion/compression only) — Files you submit for conversion or compression are temporarily stored on our server for processing. They are automatically deleted immediately after the processed file is returned to you, and no later than one hour after upload regardless of outcome. We do not read, analyse, index, or share these files.
